BarCamp in Kherson 2015

On 23rd and 24th November 2015 NESEHNUTÍ held historically first Ukrainian-Czech BarCamp in Kherson, Ukraine. Sixty five people met to share inspiration, new ideas, examples of good and also bad practice and practical tips. The profile of participants and lecturers was multifarious – students, journalists, activists, people from Crimea facing persecution, a head of new media department of Charles University in Prague or members of performance group ZTOHOVEN. For instance, Jaroslav Valúch spoke about campaigns on social networks and showed the ways how to work with it effeciently, Josef Šlerka presented trolling on the Internet and how to utilize it for civic activism, Valeria Rybak focused on free legal service in Ukraine, Demagog.cz (student project) shared the basis of art of political fact-checking and the conclusion of two-day unformal meeting was made by ZTOHOVEN group.
